Your mouth and its microbiome
The human oral microbiota is highly diverse and has a complex ecology. This is composed of bacteria, microeukaryotes, archaea and viruses.
These communities have huge diversity on the micro scale that results from the diverse microenvironments present in the oral cavity. The oral microbiota, like the microbiota of the whole digestive tract, also interfaces with the immune system of the human host. This has an important role in not only the health of the mouth and teeth but the entire body.
Rinsing the mouth, and swallowing, with a fresh probiotic tonic like LiveBrew, is believed to help maintain a healthy oral and gut microbiome. One that benefits you, the host, and helps to regulate the immune system.
